As most of you know, I've been producing a rather strange newscast at KUTV. I'm writing the 10pm news for the CW in West Palm Beach, Florida. It's a long story but basically the company that bought KUTV from CBS also bought 6 other stations including the CW in West Palm. As part of the deal we apparently got roped into doing the show for them. So I write and edit the stories, Fields Moseley is the anchor and we do it at 8pm here (10pm eastern). We have a small crew in West Palm consisting of 3 photographers and 1 reporter, who go out daily and get a handful of local stories. The rest of our stuff comes from CNN. It's actually a really fun show but we haven't gained a whole lot of viewers yet. So in an attempt to grab the "gossip girls" audience, I've created a Facebook page for the CW West Palm News.
