Home Renovations

We've been crazy busy lately, remodeling our house. Right now we're focusing on the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom which need work desperately. This week I worked on the bathroom, while Nate prepped the kitchen for a new tile floor! :) On Saturday Scott, Makai, and Brian all came up and helped tile. It looks amazing! So much better than the orange laminate that's now underneath! Now all that's left to do in the kitchen is a new countertop and kitchen faucet.. which I broke last week (that's a whole other story). In the bathroom, I patched up a LOT of holes and painted, just to make it less disgusting when my brother and sister-in-law stay with us for Christmas. It doesn't look too bad, except I can't get the light fixture to fit in the old light box and the mirror won't fit on the medicine cabinet anymore, because I put a new frame on it. I'll have to wait until Thursday (my saturday) before I can attempt to finish it. I'll post pictures soon!
